What Is
Blading
Chiropractic blading, also known as instrument-assisted soft tissue therapy, uses a smooth-edged tool to help detect and treat areas of muscle restriction or soft tissue tightness. The tool is gently moved over the skin to help stimulate the tissue, improve circulation, and encourage better movement in the affected area.
This technique is commonly used for patients dealing with muscle tightness, stiffness, overuse injuries, sports injuries, and lingering discomfort from past injuries.

The Goal of Blading Therapy
Blading therapy is designed to help release tight tissue, improve movement, and support better recovery. By targeting restricted muscles and connective tissue, this technique may help your body move more freely and respond better to chiropractic care.
This treatment can be especially helpful for patients who feel stiff, restricted, or sore even after stretching, rest, or general exercise. When combined with chiropractic adjustments, blading may help reduce tension around the joints and support better overall function.
